I am currently enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University in order to obtain my Bachelor of Science and Arts in Music Composition and Neurobiology. My minor is in Cognitive Psychology. I also participate in the BX program at the university. This is a program that is intended for students to be able to bridge the gap between their academic and arts discipline. The objective is to learn how those two fields enhance each other.When tutoring, I try to express to my students the connection between what may seem to be disparate bits of information. This way, they are not simply trying to memorize all of the material, but understand it in their world. I also have learned a lot of learning styles, techniques, and tools that will help reach the interests and personality of each unique student.I have tutored students in AP Human Geography, Geometry, AP Latin, Algebra, and AP/regular Biology during high school. I also have a lot of interest in Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Middle School Math, Statistics, Chemistry, Physics, PSAT, SAT, Writing, Essay Editing, College Essays, Grammar and Mechanics, SAT Math, SAT Verbal, Arithmetic, Advanced Placement, Study Skills and Organization, and Environmental Science.During my free time when I am not tutoring, I enjoy baking bread, writing music, cycling, painting, going to the beach and concerts, and traveling.
